So I have never tried a compression brace like this before but my foot/ankle area has been bothering me so I figured it wouldn't hurt. It is a tight fit and even though I don't feel like I am fat down there I got a large and am glad I did. Make sure you measure and size up if you are at the top of the inches for your size. I wanted compression but also able to get on and off easily, this is perfectly tight. I have worn a few days now and I notice a difference when I take it off or haven't worn. I will continue to wear around the house and for when I go walking. It is not hurting me so I figure why not keep using.
