My friend really liked this collar for his cat, but unfortunately the decorative bow didn't last long. The sutures around the edge of the arch did not heal within a month and had to be cut open because they opened and exposed the filling inside. Aside from not holding together and the white picking up a lot of our cat's black fur, it held up well after a hot soak in detergent to clean it, which I felt would ruin the moleskin. We still use it, just without the bow. Maybe because of our cat, the bow fell apart, she likes to play in the water, and the bow seems to have been glued rather than sewn. Most likely, a permanently wet collar has loosened the adhesive, so it is not suitable for an outdoor or litter box cat. It's nice and should last longer on a cat that doesn't like to jump in the toilet.
