I thought it was a legitimate option to avoid overpriced Canon ink. So I took a chance, although I suspect the latest generic ink was the cause of the early demise of my previous Canon. This ink worked for the first 6 months (one set of ink) but now it's a huge failure. I've had printing problems since November 2019. Deep cleaning after deep cleaning. I used more ink in the deep cleaning than in the actual printing. It gets a little better for a while, and then nothing prints black anymore. bad ink. Avoid. I hope I didn't kill that printer with that junk. At least their ink isn't always usable.
