So here is my honest review. Me and my family love this trash can. Sounds stupid you know. In fact, it's really good. Bag loading is difficult at first, but once you know how, it's easy. At first I wanted to go without an adapter but after reading other reviews I decided to go with an adapter because I could only imagine how many batteries I would have to change. I'm glad I did. The only downside to this bin is that out of habit, you no longer wave your hand over all the other bins. You feel like an idiot if you run your hand over the same trash can 3 or 4 times before realizing that you're not home and that this isn't your trash can.
