Having had several alarms installed over the years this was the absolute worst. The installation didn't cause any problems. That's the unit itself. 2 weeks after installation there was a problem with one of the remote controls (it wouldn't turn on). I contacted a company who wanted me to send them a video of me trying to turn on the remote (like I don't know how). They waited 4 weeks for a replacement and by that time the other remote control that came with the car also stopped working. I tried several times to program a new remote control but it wouldn't go into programming mode. In general, the device worked for 2 weeks and that's it. Checked all connections to make sure it is connected properly and still not working. My suggestion: spend a little more money and buy something that has proven to be reliable.
