Very strong and durable

Used with a 3/4" board on one side and a 1.75" board on the other side. They squeezed well and held together while I glued and screwed the boards. Very happy with how they worked.

Cons
  • The list will be long.

Great design and easy to use

I used this product to hold two pieces of a wooden frame together after they were glued together. It was easy to position the frame exactly where it would fit in the clamp and everything worked great.

Cons
  • Slightly creased

Ease in Tough Conditions

This is a heavy duty collet suitable for clamping 45 degree chamfers on 2X4 workpieces. The clamping of the bevels makes the connection precise and easy. This is a well built tool that should last forever.

Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Revainrating 5 out of 5

the boards wobble a bit

The screw in the handle was pretty loose. It wobbled a little when I pushed it against the boards. I was expecting (hoping) that there would be a smoother cocking mechanism. It was difficult to hold the boards and stretch at the same time.

Cons
  • discontinued model

easy to use, reliable.

I have no one to help hold the pieces together and I don't have a bench or vise. It was the best decision. I've made a step stool out of this, made a cage for plastic baskets with no lids so you can stack them on top of each other, and just snap the little ends together to make books.

Cons
  • tape

Not worth the time or money

The unit holds the boards fairly well, but leaving them flat is frustrating and ended up causing more problems than anything else. Also, the handle eventually broke when I was trying to screw in the wedge as tight as possible to keep the boards flat. Not worth your time and money. find something better

Cons
  • Some flaws

This is for hobbyists who have the luxury of working at their own pace. If you are a pro, invest in your business!
