Review on 📡 Metra Limited 40-UV44 Y-Adapter for Motorola Antenna by Nate Eich

I bought a HD portable radio to use in the car or at home. I felt the best way to connect the antenna in my car was to split the antenna into the car radio so I could also connect it to my HD portable radio. I bought this Y adapter before I got the HD radio in mail. I have a 2010 Ford Taurus and when I tried to hook up an HD radio I found that I had to almost completely disassemble the dash just to connect this Y adapter to the antenna cable. I gave it up. The Y adapter looks very well built and I'm sure it will work great. However, I haven't tested it and probably never will. Instead, I use a portable antenna that I bought. While I'd rather use a regular car antenna, a portable antenna works for me.
