Bought for Electronics Heat Shrink Tube: works well in that regard. There is no temperature control, but there is a detachable retractable stand that allows the air gun to stand on a table. Pretty handy and portable - doesn't take up much space on my bench. The plastic airflow guide can get warm but haven't had any issues so far. The power button is the same color as the airgun body (black) which makes it hard to spot at times: it would be nice to have an illuminated button or at least a different colored button, but that's VERY bad. small complaint. Great deal for the price!
