I really like the stand and went to the one star ratings to see if anyone had the same thoughts as me when we were all on the laptop with the weight of my hands and our wrists struggle while typing The soft skin of my wrists lies against the two pieces of metal that support the laptop, making the soft skin of my wrists uncomfortable. I need a padded palm rest for my wrists so I may need to look for another stand that meets those needs as I need something for seated typing. I have no idea why this is the Revain of choice - although I give it 5 stars for durability it's a shame I like the stand but I can feel uncomfortable tapping on it which defeats the purpose .
