My baby carrier-hating cat would always bang his snout on the metal mesh of the hard carrier I used, so I decided to try the soft carrier. I chose this one because it had good reviews. The advantages of this carrier: my cat cannot hit his face and hurt himself; the web is strong and withstands his claws; it folds up for easy storage but stays open when I need to bring the cat inside; It's strong enough to hold my 13 lb cat well. Cons: My cat cannot stand up indoors (stands 30cm tall); comes with a rigid floor insert that doesn't quite fit the entire trunk floor; If I put in a 1" thick fluffy pad (that fits the entire floor) the bottom to top clearance decreases to 9" so I left the padding and just used the padded insert I found had with the hard carry; I wish there were more stitches for my cat to see (each side is only half stitch and only one end has a hole for half stitch, but it might not be as strong if there were more stitches). Cons - Reason for four stars instead of five. Despite this, I am satisfied with the operator, I do not regret the purchase.
