I'll get VIVI Sky paper coffee filters. There are 600 unbleached filters that are 100% biodegradable, or you can buy them in white. They are compatible with K cups for Keurig 1.0 and 2.0 kettles. This will prevent sediment from spilling out of the K replacement cup. It doesn't fit perfectly, but enough to be usable. If I put it all the way down, it becomes too small. However, I just place it on top of the filter and push it down as far as possible. It also greatly simplifies filter cleaning. Paper filters prevent most of the sediment from entering the cup. These 600 filters last a long time, at least a year.
