I'm afraid of cats

I was on a long car ride with my girlfriend, her adult son and his naughty cat. I didn't want to drive when I found out the cat is allowed to roam free in the car, although she tends to hit me without provocation. I felt it would be dangerous while driving. This net/barrier was our compromise and it worked great. My main criticism was the video that the instructions say you should watch. Despite the presence of 2 suckers, they are not mentioned in the video. We ended up figuring out how to use them and didn't need them for our setup. The cat never made it into the front seat, although I suspect it might have managed to get between the side of the car and the edge of the passenger seat if someone hadn't sat with it. One final note: the flex bar at the top was a bit too "curved" for our setup, but we were able to get it in place. We ended up attaching the bottom piece to each of the seat belt anchors on the floor. I recommend this product if you don't have a small resourceful animal you want to keep. Then I'm sure they can outsmart this product.
