And it's detrimental to functionality. Even OneUI branded apps are not all optimized for Edge screens. All the signature features of the curved screen (sidebar and dynamic backlighting) on ​​the S10e's flat screen have been preserved and work just as well. The "flat" form factor also looks more solid. Another positive point: max screen brightness has become even higher. The S9 was quite bright, but in a number of situations, for example, when flying a quadcopter in bright sunshine, there were some difficulties. Now and in the brightest afternoon no problems. AMOLED displays are one of Samsung's best features. Flaws. Removed the LED indicator. To some extent, this is offset by Always-on-Display. However, the indicator was visible from afar, and to read the AoD icons, you need to get closer to the phone. The iris unlock has been removed, which somewhat reduces burglary resistance. Note to the young spy: S9 still does not beat celebrity - a real curse for law enforcement agencies. And again Bixby! Well, as much as possible. Only the lazy did not curse him. Now a new misfortune - Bixby scripts. I wrote a script so that when a BT headset is connected, notifications are read. Connected the headset - everything works. Disabled - SURPRISE!
