Quality issues but solid body

So when I took it out of the box I was very pleased with the packaging and the weight of everything. My metal plate was well painted. Everything was in a box. But I have the same problems as many others. One of the legs was not screwed in properly and the screw was only halfway in. Luckily I had some washers to tighten this leg with, although the bolt didn't go all the way. The other three legs fit fine, although one of the other legs was very tight and I almost couldn't get the screw all the way in. And no, I didn't mess anything up. They came in about halfway in length very easily before they started tying. The description states that the alligator clips rotate 360 degrees. It took me a minute to figure out how it was supposed to work. There are black mounting nuts at the top of each leg. They are fused or painted in place so they are very difficult to rotate. But the idea is that you can unscrew one of the clips until it's lined up the way you want it, and you can screw a locking nut onto it to hold it in place. However, as I mentioned earlier, pulling these nuts off without damaging the paint or breaking the gooseneck material can be tricky. So far I've only managed to open one of the four. Finally, the gooseneck is not very good. It's difficult to get it in place so it doesn't bounce back. I've found that distributing kinks as much as possible helps dampen spring return.
