Review on πŸ” Evergood Propylene Glycol 99.9%: High-Quality 1 Gallon Option by Arturo Reyes

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not ideal for personal use; some concerns

EDIT: 9/2/21 I am lowering my rating to 1 star as the alcohol smell has not gone away but has gotten worse. In a gallon it has a strong smell of alcohol. Not only is this too strong a scent to use even remotely at home, it also makes it unattractive for other uses I have for PG. quite a lot of VG and PG. I usually use Essential Depot for both, but while their quality remains the same, their prices and availability have changed over the last year. I looked at other sources and was very interested in seeing what Evergood had to offer. Unfortunately I am not satisfied with this product. It meets all the requirements for home use: USP quality, food grade and 99.9% purity. However, e-liquid PG should be odorless when inhaled in a bottle. It has a slight but persistent odor of alcohol. The taste is also sharper and more bitter than the ideal PG e-liquid. Consistency is good. The product description says it's sourced and made in the USA (another big plus), but the bottle doesn't say that, which is a little disconcerting. The bottle itself is quite thick, made of thick plastic. The lid is sealed with foil and there is a childproof cap on the closure. The label has a lot number field (awesome!) but it was left blank. This is also worrying. As with all claims (purity, USP, food grade, provenance, etc.) you must take the word of the manufacturer as there is no way for the consumer to verify and verify these claims. All I can say is that the smell and taste are unacceptable for my DIY e-juice. Maybe it can easily be used for other purposes, so I'm giving it 2 stars. For my needs - unsatisfactory.
