I've tried at least half a dozen charging cables for my phone - most of them Samsung or Apple. It takes several months to a year for the cable to break and the wires to be exposed, usually at the plug that goes into the phone. Well, with this cable, all that can be forgotten. First, everything looks very strong and durable. It feels like a hard rope. I really feel like I can flex it back and forth for hours and it will still be fine (but I have better things to do) - very stiff feeling. Another great point is that the cable itself has a double layer of protection on both ends to prevent that the cable is pulled or pushed at an angle (which usually causes the plastic on other cables to tear, exposing the wires). I've had this cable for a while now and as mentioned above I'm pretty sure this will be the last charging cable I'll ever need to buy. Another plus is that it comes with two cords, one of which was about 6 feet long. a long one that I keep at home and another about 3ft long that I keep in the car. Thanks to a second cable, I no longer have to carry a cable with me when the battery is low.
