Make sure you buy a tie from the right seller and everything will be fine, otherwise you will be very dissatisfied. I put a black one in my cart from the guys with ties and a gray one from another customer that shipped somewhere in China. Ordered both at the same time and the black came in a few days and the gray in a few weeks. The black was great material, true to the description, was 2.75" wide at the bottom as advertised and looked great in use. Gray has a much worse material, it's too shiny, HUGE at 3.75 inches and looks awful because it tangles. I threw it away because I will never use it and giving it to someone would be a fuck you gift. Went back and bought the same but made sure it was from TieGuys and the new gray is exactly the same as the black. Looks great.
