Bought this for my nephew for Christmas, he's been obsessed with it ever since.
I have a rather elegant 8 year old nephew who I bought this for as a Christmas present. I honestly had no idea what to get him and I got it on a whim, it turned out great. He loves to. Put it on when you open it and I've seen him wear it regularly. Fits as expected, I bought a size up for another style so it fit him longer. If you think your kid might like it, I would take it because you're probably right.
