Review on Dorman HELP 42327 Valve Grommet by Robert Ryokan
Loose fit but you can get it to work
A few years ago I had another one of these gaskets, probably the same brand, which was also a loose fit. I recently bought another one and this one is no different. Some people, like the other reviewer, wrap something around it as mentioned in RTV. I just wrap the "threads" around this sleeve a couple of times. with sanitary Teflon tape. I used to wrap the "threads" with electrical tape, but it didn't hold up very well to the heat of the motor. Teflon tape handles the heat better. After that, that PCV valve bushing fits in there pretty tight. I use just enough teflon tape for a tight fit.
