This is the second unit I have bought. The vacuum seems to work well and the first lasted about 2 years and then the electric brush head broke. But overall I was happy because the vacuum worked well and was extremely powerful. I did however purchase a new Shark rocket cleaner and while it looks the same as the previous one, upon opening the box I found that Shark no longer offers a bare bottom nozzle dubbed the 'Hard Floor Hero'. I find this funny as it is the most commonly used tool for cleaning a non-carpeted floor. I was thinking of returning it as I found that the electric brush is not as good for cleaning hardwood and hardwood stairs and especially floor tiles, despite the manufacturer's instructions stating that the electric brush is good for cleaning carpets and all other flat surfaces is. I don't think this is good for my cherry wood floors and I'm afraid the nozzle will scratch the floors. Shark now offers a bare-bottom nozzle for $29.95, which is a little inconvenient as you would expect this simple nozzle to be included with the purchase. So essentially it costs $30 more for people who need a bare floor mount, which is necessary if you have tile and hardwood floors. I would give this product 5 stars if it came with the "hard floor hero" needle floor nozzle as before as it is a very powerful vacuum that can actually hold as much as very expensive vacuums that have failed. there.
