Purchased this item and the roller brush has not rotated for 6 months. Since it had a one-year warranty from Shark, I called them. You wouldn't cover it. Wanted to charge me full price for a new brush head. Very disappointed that they didn't defend their product for at least a year (1 year factory warranty says on the box). Will really change their minds before buying any Shark product in the future.

This vacuum cleaner doesn't do what it's supposed to, picking up dirt from floors and storing it for recycling. The small plastic door seal breaks down almost instantly, allowing dirt, sand or other small debris to fall back onto the floor during cleaning. You must be careful and constantly empty. All of these are really good for removing dog hair and dust. Well it's a joke. How did it pass a test? Shark should be ashamed to sell this. What a waste of money.

18 months of use twice a week and the hose in the engine head broke. It's a motorized brush head, making it more of a vacuum than a fancy vacuum. The warranty states that there is a full list of covered/non-covered parts called wear parts/or durable parts, but there is no list and even a supervisor would not provide me with a list. We have a three story house with a steep staircase. We have an Oreck and Canister on the first floor and these are for the lower and upper floors. Good on hardwood, decent on carpet, decent on carpeted stairs. Loads of suction and a cord that handles each of our spaces without leaving the center plug. I like this vacuum cleaner. I had 2 Dysons. Animal and handheld wireless. I thought the more expensive the better, but so WRONG! The animal is huge, heavy and clumsy. This is the second unit I have bought. The vacuum seems to work well and the first lasted about 2 years and then the electric brush head broke.
