Review on BLACK DECKER 2 Slice Toaster TR1278RM by Keisha Wright

We have had this toaster for a little over 6 months and it was initially fine. It looked beautiful and then did a reasonable job of toasting. For me, it toasted a bit even in the darkest of conditions, so I often found myself putting things on the back burner a little longer. And this morning, a few minutes after my wife toasted an English muffin, I could smell burning. I looked around and the toaster was on and incredibly hot! The lever was up and the cancel button didn't even work - the toaster had a mind of its own! I had to turn it off and start outside. A few more minutes and I'm sure we'd be looking at the fire. I will definitely write to the manufacturer about this. ADVANTAGES: - Price - Looks great. CONS: - Turns itself on! There are only buttons. did you press correctly Unknown. The slots are wide enough but not long enough for me. A piece of anything other than regular white bread will shrink greatly in length.
