First of all I love how this little corner table looks in the corner of my dining room! Looks made for my room. The drawer has homework supplies, room above for a laptop and more, plus shelf space below for my old stereo and a file folder. We struggled to pick it up. The instructions were fine. All parts were present, as well as a package of accessories. The problem was mounting a flat shelf "G" under the desk. Either the cam bolt was too short (63mm end to end) or the pocket holes for the cam locks were drilled too far apart (cam locks were 66mm center to center). Therefore, the cam lock was bent and could not catch the head of the cam lock bolt to stabilize and pull the MDF shelving parts together. My husband ran to the local hardware store and bought 2 flat brackets and some screws. (MDF is about half an inch thick if you have to make the same decision. Also make sure the staples are near the camlock holes so they don't get in the way of the side support when it's fully installed. ) Other info Would have liked to have before buying but it turned out to be good for our use: - Internal dimensions of the drawers (front to back, you can't install a ruler): 22&3/8" wide x 10&3 /4" front to back and 3& 1/4 deep. - Height and width to bottom of drawer front (stool and hip spacing): 23.5" high x 25.25" wide. - Shelf spacing: 11.25" tall (and shelves are 6.25" wide where legs do not intersect into this dimension). - Distance from bottom to bottom shelves: 11 and 7/8 inches, not including the brackets we had to add - Drawer bottom thickness is only 1/4 inch. Don't plan on having something heavy in the box. (Place your coin collection elsewhere!) The entire piece is made of MDF. It is also known as a puffboard. If the part is scratched and then gets wet, or just gets wet and doesn't wipe off immediately, the surface will act like a sponge and swell! It really can't be fixed if it does. The table came with touch up paint. Not sure if it's water based (that would be bad on a cut surface). See how to prime a poufboard if you ever need to touch it up. Do not apply anything water-based to the exposed MDF surface. The sheen on the table is somewhere between eggshell and semi-gloss, and the color is roughly Sherwin Williams Pearl, SW 6154. (It's like a tiny drop of army green in vanilla antique white.) Hope this helps!
