Really nice dress for this price! As with other 1950s-style dresses, if you want the signature A-line, you'll need a petticoat. This dress was a little longer; it goes just below my knees. I'm 5ft 7in, 130lbs, size S and it fits well. The fabric has a lot of stretch as it is mainly polyester and some spandex, is a nice weight and feels and drapes very well. In the photo, the Bordeaux color is slightly darker. The torso area is a princess seam, which contours and accentuates the upper body very well. The lace is a very nice touch, I personally don't like the low back but it would be great for summer when it's hot and windy!
