Out of specification screws: TV ceiling and wall mounts
I'm sure it was an accident so you could be very lucky. But the screws I received just weren't the right ones even though they were marked as such. I've installed dozens of TVs but only needed a few more M4 screws. M4 washers are larger than M4 bolts because the bolt head goes through. Upon further inspection, a quick measurement showed that while they were close to spec, they weren't. Personally I will no longer be ordering them from Amazon and would advise you to go to the store in person to purchase them if possible.
