Very happy with this purchase, if you are looking for a home security system, this one can meet all your needs. Installation was very easy, just remember that the camera's power supply must be inside and protected. So get ready to poke holes in the walls. The only issue I had was that one of the power supplies died after just a day of normal use, probably simply due to a faulty component. but after calling tech support they sent me a new one right away and with minimal hassle. The only advice I can give is not to place the cameras too close to the edge so there is no glare from the IR lights when using the night vision function, other than that the night vision works just as well as regular cameras. Once you've set it up with a screen (not included) it has a handy 4-way split-screen feature so you can see all the cameras at once, or you can double-click on an image and it will take the entire one fill screen . Like I said, besides piercing the walls to run the power cables, it's very easy, just plug in the cameras one at a time, let the receiver pick up one at a time, and you're good to go. The playback function is simple. and easy to use, just right-click on the screen, select play, and you can see all four cameras at once or zoom in on each one individually. It has a nice calendar feature for selecting the day and hour below, although it can be quite tricky to select the exact seconds to display. and can also be a bit slow sometimes, once you download the app you can also check the system on your phone, a very handy feature that I didn't even know about when I bought it. In short, this system does everything I wanted and more. Also, the night vision cameras work very well with a good range for the IR system. I highly recommend this product.
