Review on 📷 Exploring the Versatility: SmallRig Cage for FUJIFILM X-S10 Camera 3087. by Joseph Hall

I ordered this Rig Cage thinking it would be a camera protector not knowing that although it does it is mainly for attaching accessories is. Being into photography/videography, I don't yet have the sophisticated accessories that this device was designed for. I intend to further develop my photo/video skills so I will definitely use this device for its intended purpose in the future. However, since the cage doesn't allow the camera flash to work, I won't be installing it permanently until I switch to an external flash. I am delighted with the quality of this device. The aluminum alloy frame is perfectly finished and fits my X-S10 perfectly. Access to all buttons, dials and access panels is unhindered. A magnetic tool and an M2 screw on the right side of the frame are used to tighten the fixing screw. The listing says this screw prevents twisting, but to be honest I have no idea what this screw does or how to use it properly. It screws into the cage but doesn't hold anything together or attach the cage to the camera. The cage is designed with mounting holes throughout, allowing flexibility in the number and location of devices installed. The Rig Cage comes without a manual, which isn't really necessary, except that the listing says you need to remove the right neck strap buckle. before installation, which I would never have known if I hadn't looked at the listing. Not sure why it needs to be removed as there is room in the cage for the strap to remain attached to the camera. When setting the cage permanently, I move the strap onto the cage.
