I needed to replace a broken salad base set of "wooden spoons" that I've had for many years are about 5" long and about 2.5" wide. When I opened the shipping box and unpacked them I was shocked at their size. They are literally the size of my palm and are much wider. The size took a little getting used to. At first they were a little uncomfortable in my hands compared to my thin light pair I replaced but now I LOVE using them on the bottom of my wooden salad bowl and making it easier to toss salad They have a small pole on the back so they hang on the edge of the bowl for easy storage As they are NOT dishwasher safe when I wash them the pegs are great for air drying in my salad bowl FANTASTIC ESKAYA, even if it takes a little getting used to!
