So in 2 years I have bought 4 ratchet straps from different suppliers. The first two I received had broken levers and had to be sent back. The third strap was fine except when it had to be loosened. Basically, you had to pull the entire buckle, and that pushed the other side of the buckle into your waist. It was very unusual. The strap had to be replaced because part of the clasp ended up falling off the leather strap somewhere and I never found it. I recently got this new BOSTANTEN belt and knew right away that it was better than all the other options I had tried. in the past. First, the bakel itself is very beautiful and has a significant weight. This is a pair of different shades of black chrome with subtle pattern lines. The strap itself appears to be of good quality and will hopefully hold up (time will tell). The only downside I would like to point out is that the end of the belt doesn't quite reach my 2nd loop to hide in my pants after cutting. I didn't want to shorten it to leave enough space in case I gain weight in the future. It would be nice to have a sliding loop on the belt itself for this. But that's very slight as the strap flexes naturally and doesn't dangle, and you really can't tell even with your shirt tucked in.
