The perfect awl (for me)
I bought this awl to punch holes in homemade magazine signatures and it was the perfect choice. It's a good size - not too big, not too small. And the cap attaches to the handle when in use, creating a nice rounded end so no sharp edges hurt my hand when I push the tip through multiple sheets of paper at once. When not in use, the cap protects the tip so there's no risk of accidentally being punctured by the tip, and flattens the bottom so it sits comfortably on a shelf without rolling when not in use. Great price for a great product.
