This is a good filter for early Keurig single cup coffee makers. It's a nice addition because it allows me to enjoy a cup of coffee with filtered water instead of the nasty tap water from the kitchen sink. I live in Florida, so if you don't filter the water here, it gets very "hard". The hard water here is due to the limestone aquifers we get our water from, which is why the water is considered "hard" and has a funny taste. Once filtered, it gives the water a neutral taste, which is nice because a good cup of coffee starts with good, clean water. I recommend this product to anyone who doesn't have good tap water or just wants a good cup of coffee. Sometimes the smallest things make the biggest difference.
