Let me start with the installation. Simple is the best way to describe the installation in a 2012 Jeep JKU. Pull the dash, remove old radio, plug in new radio. Done!Factory amp (infinity System) works, fading does not. Steering wheel controls work great, reversed >> and << in the settings menu. This was to address the skipping of tracks, up went back and down went forward.Radio and bluetooth connection work great, no issues there.Apps are slow to load and respond. The lack of ram and really it is just lacking on the hardware side to run them very well.Boot up is slow. You can change a setting for a sleep time, up to 60 minutes. This puts the radio to sleep for the time selection you choose. Other manufacturers allow days, this one maxed out at 60 minutes. Every morning is a long boot time.*****************************************************DO NOT USE your normal google account in this radio, create a new one. This is mainly for theft reasons. I created a google account for my vehicle and use that in the play store.*****************************************************Android Auto and CarPlay are non-existent unless you buy the usb dongle (upcharge baby).Customer service is good. They answered my questions timely.Do not expect to turn this baby on and pop open maps and type in the address and go. That isn't the reality with this head unit. You can definitely do it, just remember it takes longer than your phone. This is why I bought the USB carplay/android auto dongle. (arrives today 12/24, maybe) I can run google maps and spotify on the HU, but the lag hurts.Simply use this HU for the basics, bluetooth audio and radio. Factory SWC and amp integration without extra boxes and wire splicing. I would look for something with at least 4Gb ram and a support website.
