Review on FormulaMod Secondary 8.8 Temperature Expansion πŸ’» Resolution Monitor - 1920X480P, 60Hz, Wide Screen by Randy Balboa

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good Temperature Monitor for Desktop - Be careful with software

Edit: Lowering this from four stars to three. The software provided started causing instability on my system, it could have been the Aida template I was using or it could have been old software, but there were problems adding this panel. In any case, it's not worth the pRetTY graphics you can add/customize. After research, it also turned out that the software keys were throwing an error that was suspiciously close to fraud (so I don't expect any support from Aida for template, sensor, or software issues). - Sturdy mounting hardware and brackets - Bright LED screen (definitely viewable through tempered glass) - Included surveillance software (Aida64) + templates worked as expected and were customizable - LED accent lighting (positive for some) Cons: - LED, for which the screen is thick is what it is you need to make sure you have 1/2 inch of screen space if it is between the side panel and the PSU, heatsink etc. no way to make adjustments. Installation instructions are not included in the original package or software download, you will need to search for most of them online. CPU (which is expected) but the Templa made sure to increase this even more. You'll need to adjust Aida to compensate if you have a hot CPU. Convinced for myself: Out of the box: +10C idle Tweaked: +3C idle Still a good buy, recommended as a custom option. Not necessarily the "set it and forget it" option out of the box
