The color of the ink exactly matches the color of the cap. I want to know that the color I'm aiming for will come out as promised. What a nice little touch, even the name of the colors they choose makes sense! The brush tip is smooth with a slight crack. It dispenses ink with precision and gentle pressure, a predictable flow that gives me precise control over where the ink goes. just then (you better know your shading or blending color beforehand!) to be seamless and smooth. A clear blending highlighter doesn't help blending that much, it pushes the color I'm trying to blend into and makes it lighter - great for highlights. A shoe box full of holes, dried up explosive ink spewing things with made up color names and caps that have nothing to do with the color that actually comes out on the paper and don't mix at all either with those colorless mixing tools that I bought separately , and three or four sets of more than fancy skin tones that nature wouldn't allow on human skin in even the worst of circumstances, and as I've created my own color swatches I'll admit I've pretty much had all it was, it might have been ten different colors, at best it says something completely different. Out of about 250 cheap markers, I still have ten on my desk mixed with markers like this one. what are you paying for. Given 240 pens ending up at Goodwill, a $7 marker that does exactly what it's supposed to do is a pretty good deal in my deal book.
