Review on 🔥 Stainless Steel BBQube Fast-Response Food Temperature Probe for iGrill by Russ Montgomery

UPDATE (September 2019): I just realized I bought two of these, one of them is starting to bounce in time for cooking. It has been used many dozens of times and has spent many hours in my smokehouse. spare time. I didn't expect them to last so long. First test (December 2016): Although I haven't used it for cooking yet, I took it out of the packaging and tested it right away (2). I started by hanging them in an empty cup connected to 2 iGrill minis plus another iGrill mini with the standard sensor (brand new). Then I poured boiling water into the cup and watched the temperature rise. The iGrill probe took almost 15 seconds to reach the actual temperature (200 degrees), while it took about 3 seconds to reach the temperature. Within 20 seconds they were all the same temperature. I looked at the temperature drop chart and watched the temperature drop. They were all within 1 degree of each other and falling at the same rate. I would say these are excellent probes.
