These knives are fantastic! The photo absolutely fails to convey how comfortable, versatile and manoeuvrable they are! I wasn't actually expecting much - I was looking for a small set of color coded steak knives for my family. Now we're eating more homemade food and I wanted knives that you can sharpen. Knives that cut meat cleanly at the table instead of sawing and tearing (like most serrated steak knives). And that's all I wanted and more! They are great for sharpening and slicing meat (and vegetables too) like little scalpels! (Remember a sharp knife is a sharp knife, you shouldn't give one to a toddler...) But if you're feeding a group of adults who want to cut their steak, pork chops or chicken into bite-sized pieces easily and smooth, they are perfect. ! A big bonus that I didn't expect is that I reach for these knives while cooking. Convenient to use, easy to handle and sharper than Dickens, they are a pleasure both in the kitchen and at the table. And while nothing can replace a pair of giant old knives with some weight in your kitchen, they are incredibly useful. . . much more often than I expected! And they are profitable, among other things! I definitely recommend them (especially if you sharpen knives regularly).
