I bought this cake stand because I wanted to make a homemade two tier birthday cake for my daughter. I bought this product based on the mostly positive reviews and I'm glad I did! This turntable is so sturdy that I could easily flip it over to cover the cake with frosting. I screwed up the frosting when I put it on the turntable (hey! I was pretending I knew what I was doing and thought I was a fancy cake maker 🤣🙄), but all I had to do was was to grab a napkin. and wipe it off. The turntable is very easy to clean! I had the cake on it when I decided it would be a good idea to lift the entire turntable to move the cake to its new location once I'm done. He didn't stagger at all, he was beautiful and strong. I am very happy with this purchase and hope to make more cakes in the future. I feel like this turntable made icing the cake a lot easier for the beginner baker! The advantage is that it is much cheaper than other brands.
