The flow is just right to wash or clean dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. It's amazing how they designed a slow flow shower for this faucet aerator. Just enough water to wash your hands without getting irritated. You get a little annoyed when you fill a big pot with water; Be patient; this will take a few more minutes. Synthetic threads are not coarse, but very thin. I had to glue white pipe tape (one, a loop worked for me) to keep water from leaking from the top of the aerator. Maybe I have limescale deposits on the internal thread of the fitting. This was the only minor downside to the setup; I'm pretty much a handyman; This can be frustrating if you're not a handyman, but it's easy to fix if someone else is doing it for you. I highly recommend it when installing a new kitchen or bathroom faucet. Put it in place before using the new faucet. If you wash and rinse dishes in the sink or need a lot of water to fill the container quickly, this product is NOT FOR YOU. We have a well, which not only saves water, but also our energy costs, since the well pump doesn't have to pump water as often. I'm still giving it 5 stars because I LOVE the 0.35mpg and the design of how it sprays that water for maximum efficiency.
