This item is pretty cool. The flow pattern is particularly unique. I saw some reviews complaining about low consumption. Well yes it is a low flow aerator just like the description says. Also, you should try to remove the aerator before ordering it. Attempting to remove aerators from some faucets can cause your faucet to fail.

I was looking forward to the chilled water mode but as you can see from my photo the aerator I received only created a standard needle jet. Did I get the Mikado at all? I doubt it. 1 star for probably the wrong product being delivered. But when it comes to saving water - easily 5 stars. This (whatever I got; it wasn't Mikado) is much more efficient than the standard aerator that Grohe offers.

The flow is just right to wash or clean dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. It's amazing how they designed a slow flow shower for this faucet aerator. Just enough water to wash your hands without getting irritated. You get a little annoyed when you fill a big pot with water; Be patient; this will take a few more minutes. Synthetic threads are not coarse, but very thin. I had to glue white pipe tape (one, a loop worked for me) to keep water from leaking from the top of the aerator…
