Yes this is a cold brew set not just the maker and at first I thought it doesn't matter. But details are important and I have to say that overall this coffee maker is well thought out. The included scoop and funnel make it very easy to measure and pour the coffee into the strainer. The thickness of the glass is good and there is a nice feeling that this thing doesn't come off when washing or when the lid seal doesn't come off (it happens). The lid seals completely. The jar is pretty good and has a rubber seal - I don't want my coffee to take on different flavors than things I might have in my fridge. The sieve meshes are very fine and only very fine coffee strength remains. If you carefully transfer your coffee to another glass after the brewing process, you can see the residue at the bottom of the glass cylinder and it's not much. However, one small thing should be mentioned. To remove the strainer after the brewing process, you must disassemble the coffee maker by unscrewing the black plastic lid. If it were possible to remove the screen without this I would say the design is ideal. now I would call it very good. I can definitely recommend this cold brewer. The quality is top notch for this low price.
