I bought this lamp for my daughter's room and she loves it. Diamond crystals reflect light very well, casting random iridescent patterns throughout the room. When the fan turns on, the diamond will move slightly due to vibration/wind, creating a fabulous ballroom. The assembly took some time. I made everything myself and spent a little over an hour on it. The manual could definitely use a bit of work as it doesn't mention where the controller goes. But I put the controller in the ceiling and connected the cable there. I have a gap in my drywall that I'm installing it in so I don't have to go to the attic. Be sure to place BOTH covers on the hanger bar before wiring. I had to redo it because I skipped that step. Once the fan is hung from the ceiling, the light is simply attached with a magnet. These are pretty easy to arrange and I placed them between the screws. The wire cap is orange, so I recommend wrapping it with black electrical tape. So less visible. Diamond crystals are fairly easy to apply, but you must attach each one by hand. I widened the middle one so it went deeper. The fan pushes and draws a lot of air. It can easily circulate air throughout the room. It's actually quite powerful and remains hidden when not activated. Overall, installing this lamp was worth it. It's really gorgeous and almost too pretty to use in the bedroom.
