I bought 24 of these Halloween Youth Dance Candles and hung them around the room with string and they worked great! The black wick was perfect for tying to keep the cord from slipping and by the end of the night the wick slipped off then was pulled back on with a little but gentle pressure so we could easily untie it. They aren't bright, which is what I wanted to use with a black light, but gave off enough light to be seen in a very large room. They all lasted about 4 hours and the battery still holds a charge. I'm not sure how long this will last because I haven't tested them beyond that. These lights are very durable. The youths at the dance turned on the lights for the full 3 hours and forced them to fly over the wire to which they were tied. Some of them were blown off the line due to such a strong hit. At the end of the night I was amazed to find that not a single light was broken. I got so many compliments on how they looked in the room and I would definitely recommend them for any occasion.
