So far this camera is working well for us. My wife says it's a little difficult figuring out how to switch between modes to find the mode that works best for what she's trying to do, but for the most part the automatic feature works for what we need. None of us are photographers, we just want to take pictures of our kids and our cell phone cameras just don't capture the speed of toddlers. We didn't have any blurring issues on any setting and were able to take some great photos with this camera. This will probably be our family cam until it stops working, which hopefully won't be for very long! Update, a year after we bought the camera it says lens error and no longer works. After contacting Canon, we were instructed to remove the battery and hold the power button for 2 minutes to drain the remaining charge. This is a hard reset. After that it worked perfectly again. They said that simply storing the camera in a bag and banging it occasionally will eventually cause the lens to slip and a hard reset would solve the problem. I saw other reviews on here about it breaking and maybe that's all they had to do?
