Bought for our movie night. He worked outside on the patio while we grilled and played games. Use it at home while I'm cooking or cleaning and when it's centered I can hear it around the house. Battery life was good too, at over five hours (probably more than eight, but when I'm at the lake who really cares?) The static when changing the volume while gaming isn't bad, just noticeable. Great little speaker; recommend.
