Excellent. Need weather protection, stains. But I think it's doable. Another thing, I would like the rope to be longer. Otherwise we love it. I weigh 120 pounds and I rock it with my 40kg baby on my lap (just for fun)! It's strong! Ropes live look better than in the picture. The most important thing for me was that it was LARGE enough for adult hips as I wanted to use it too! All other swings in this price range are for kids only (about 15 inches wide). Maybe $80-$100 swings are more durable. But we don't really need them to last 10 years. Honestly, I couldn't justify the $100 price tag. for a piece of wood with two ropes. So far so good. We plan to paint soon (nice project with a baby).
