These are very nice toenail scissors. Fine workmanship, beautiful sharp cutting effect. The problem is they don't provide enough leverage to easily cut through a large toenail. At least for me. I usually touch up my toenails after a shower to soften them up a bit, but even with that I couldn't get a single clean cut around the edges of my big toenail. I had to make two or three cuts to trim it to match the curve I drew on the cut nail. My old toenail scissors, which had become dull in 10 years, were a bit longer and gave a bit more leverage to continually trim the big guy. Nevertheless, I give four stars because it is well made and very sharp.
