I bought a brown pair of these boots because last year I had a black pair that I wore on an international trip and I really liked the peace of mind knowing the majority of my cash was NOT in my purse. I opted for a slightly different design (higher rather than just an ankle boot) but I was dismayed to find that the pocket is not as large. It appears to be a full size pocket, but in fact, the zipper stops halfway (even tho it appears to go the full length of the boot) and the inner pocket is equally small (it's not just the opening, but the entire pocket is half-size.) Rather than being two credit cards wide, it barely fits one credit card and it's a very tight fit. This was not what I wanted and the picture is deceitful as it shows a full length zipper. Well, the zipper is full length, but it has a seam that cuts it in half and the inner pocket lining is only half size as well. After careful consideration, I did keep them as they ARE very comfortable with a cushiony sole that will be very nice for the amount of walking to be done on my next international trip. But I feel like it needs to be pointed out that the pocket is NOT as big as advertised by the zipper.
