Even after reading most of the negative reviews I thought I would give it a try anyway but was very dissatisfied with the product and the app you use with it. It's a good idea if it works most of the time (which was less than 20% for me) and could get away with the hassle of using it with a phone. I am very familiar with such technologies and devices, but I was disappointed with the result. After multiple calibrations and using the different modes available, I have never been able to get an accurate reading or duplicate a reading. Also ridiculous is the plastic wrap that you can stick on the back to keep it from getting scratched. Keeps falling off. For such protection, something must be built into the device. There are definitely some improvements that need to be made.
