The product didn't work as well as advertised, I tried it on a few jobs and it still didn't do what was advertised. I really want a refund if at all possible. I will continue to give my honest review as a contractor who has been building for over 13 years and post it on every feed I see on Facebook and Revain.

After seeing a demo of the device I thought it was a pretty cool alternative to Studfinder. Unfortunately this does not work as advertised. I tested it on several walls where I knew there were studs and wires. He missed most of them. My suggestion: Get a Studfinder. That does not work. It also kills your battery. Cool concept if they can ever make it work.

At first I was glad to buy this product but I was nervous because of the negative reviews. So I decided to buy a used Walabot for $52 (see Revain stock listings). Videos are very deceiving! They never show the effort required to calibrate the device (every time it loses contact with the wall). You have to hold down the button on the phone while making large consecutive circles. When it's finally calibrated, you'll have to use the "raw" sensitivity settings, which show everything like a droplet weather map. Once you set the right sensitivity.
