We field tested this martingale for two months. It's absolutely cool. The double row chain is spot welded to prevent kinking, pulling hair or tangling. My dog has a huge round head (I can put my hand between his eyeballs) and the medium is perfect. It doesn't need the medium of ALL but I ordered based on the reviews and that's for sure. I can leave it on him all the time without worrying about it irritating his skin or rubbing him, which has been a problem with harnesses and leather collars in the past. This collar doesn't choke him even when tight (he's a bulldozer and definitely pulls), but he responds better than any webbed nylon martingale because it doesn't give or stretch. The end of the leash is the end of the leash, and now he's really feeling it. If like me you don't like choke chains but your dog is a jerk then this is the perfect solution.
